Lorain County Community College is celebrating the growth and benefit of College Credit Plus to Lorain County high school students and their families. LCCC partners with all 19 Lorain County K-12 school districts to make college courses available at no cost to families, and the cumulative impact of this and other dual enrollment programs in Lorain County is taking shape. Since 2013, 11,335 Lorain County high school graduates have earned college credit through LCCC. Because College Credit Plus is delivered at no cost to families, since 2013, Lorain County families have saved $99 million if these students took courses at the average Ohio public four-year university tuition rate.
