In a controversial move, Lorain County Auditor Craig Snodgrass is appealing to the Ohio Supreme Court to challenge its most recent and final decision against the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals regarding the valuation of the Nexus Pipeline system. 'After lengthy consideration and input from multiple stakeholders in Lorain County and throughout the state of Ohio, I have decided to file an appeal,' Snodgrass wrote in a news release issued March 13. Nexus Gas Transmission (NEXUS) is an approximately 256-mile, 36-inch pipeline through 12 Ohio counties and into a portion of Michigan, the company's website stated.
