Lorain County Job and Family Services , 42485 North Ridge Road in Elyria Township, has been working to supply community resources for families county-wide for years. Between directing individuals toward resources, creating opportunities and helping hopeful employees reach their goals, the agency wears a variety of hats. According to director Barbara Tamas, the agency and its programs had a successful year in 2022. Tamas said the agency is not limited to Lorain County, however. 'Every county in the state of Ohio has one of us, a Job and Family Services,' she said.
