LorMet Community Federal Credit Union donates more than ,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio

LorMet Community Federal Credit Union collected $25,150 for the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio in a recent campaign to assist those in need during the holiday season. On Nov. 22, staff from the credit union visited Second Harvest and  presented the Lorain-based non-profit organization with the money raised, according to a news release from LorMet. 'Knowing their donations would be matched, members of the credit union responded to the campaign with incredible generosity, well aware of the challenges local families and food banks have faced throughout the year,' the news release stated.
